Assuming you have a twelve channel
radio that has a 5 watt transmitter, commonly a walkie
talkie fits this use. If you have a higher power
radio, typically a mobile or base station, then you
can't program in ANY FRS channels. FRS 1-7 are
shared with GMRS with a max of 5 watt transmitter.
